For more than 60 years excavation, grading and land development have been our core services. KAMEX specializes in many aspects of earthwork and grading. Our hands-on management style allows us to pay special attention to the details of every project and effectively respond to changing and challenging project conditions. Our ability to create a project plan, develop 3D images, manage projects and execute the site clearing and preparation of raw land for its intended use is what separates KAMEX from most of our competitors. Whether the ultimate purpose is commercial, retail, quarry and mining, environmental, energy or public works, our team of professionals will ensure your project’s success from beginning to end.
At KAMEX, we are experts in soil stabilization. You will notice our equipment and teams working throughout the Metro East area to build strong foundations for roads, warehouses, and other infrastructure. A new development is only as strong as the foundation underneath. The soil stabilization process essentially takes existing site soils and blends them with reagents to chemically alter the composition of the soil to create more stability, helping your soil and foundations become stronger.
KAMEX is a leader in developing site infrastructure throughout the Metro East and surrounding areas. Underground utilities require special knowledge of soil conditions, well-maintained equipment, and safe installation procedures. Having necessary utilities installed properly or updated to fit new demands is essential for both environmental and public health. At KAMEX, our experienced, knowledgeable professionals will install and service various utilities required for your project. We have experience working with storm sewers, sanitary sewers, force mains, point repairs, dewatering, and structures.
KAMEX offers a full range of pumping and dewatering services. The process ensures the soil is dry prior to excavation. Pumping removes excess water on the ground’s surface and underground, which will help firm up the soil. Dewatering prevents soil erosion and upheaval failure.
At KAMEX, our teams treat every job with importance whether it’s a simple sidewalk or highway paving job. We are experts when it comes to the design and build of concrete surfaces, and you can rely on us for a job exceptionally well done.
The procedure of preparing concrete streets, sidewalks and curbs are performed simultaneously with the earthwork to produce the best results. These include the preparation of the subgrade to provide uniform support, the accurate alignment of forms and/or slipform equipment, jointing to provide for crack control, finishing and texturing, curing, and protecting until ready for traffic loads. The ability to self-perform all scopes of work allow us to be seamless, start to finish.
At KAMEX, we work directly with each of our clients to determine the most appropriate type of demolition service suited for their individual project. Safety is a top priority and having a knowledgeable demolition contractor can significantly reduce accidents and injuries. Equally important is having a demo contractor with knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience working with agencies and community groups alike. KAMEX provides a complete demolition plan, working with regulatory agencies and interested community groups, providing turnkey project management to ensure project success.
At KAMEX, we have the experienced personnel and specialized equipment that allows the job to be done quickly and efficiently while ensuring the safety of our teams as well as any surrounding structures.

CCTV – KAMEX uses the newest IBAK technology available, including equipment with color/pan
and tilt/zoom/crawler cameras and tractor transporters. Our state-of-the-art equipment provides the
best pipe inspection services available. We deliver high resolution video with on-screen graphics as
well as written notes, which allow you to accurately locate problems before they become
emergencies, giving you the opportunity to select the most appropriate rehabilitation and repair
technology for your pipelines.
LETS – This unique Lateral Evaluation Televising System (LETS) allows for the inspection of the
sanitary sewer lateral from the mainline pipe. This high-tech equipment has the ability to inspect up
to 120 feet of a 4” to 6” pipe from mainline sewers. It is an excellent option to inspect the condition of
laterals and locate any problems or blockages between the source and mainline. Lateral inspections
can also be used to provide an assessment of lateral pipe conditions prior to paving.
Digital Recording – Kamex uses ITPipes inspection software to streamline data collection with the
best quality and speeds available to capture video in user-friendly digital formats to show you the
most precise conditions of your system. Our TV inspection unit is outfitted with onboard computers
to deliver data in real-time, with a dedicated ITPipes IT team to provide support in the field and in the
office.
Dye Water Flooding – Dye water flooding often reveals sources of infiltration and hidden cross
connections between sanitary and storm sewers. When dyed water flooded into the storm sewer
appears in the sanitary system, the source is unmistakable. Once the source of the infiltration is
located, the most cost-effective correction method can be determined.
Locating – Both our mainline and lateral inspection cameras have the ability to be located using an
external receiver. This allows us the ability to give our customers the best information available on
problem locations, buried structures, or unknown routing.
